HEPHFORGE is a small, independent workshop run from Turkey. We have taken no investment, we are attached to no one, and we accept no payment from the projects we analyse.

Why it exists

In this market trust is mostly sold through the brand: “if we say it, it is so.” As far as we have measured, most analysis products do not publish their method in any browsable form. We see that as a gap. We think the alternative to “trust us” can be “check for yourself”.

How confident we are

Honestly: this is a hypothesis. We looked for a precedent at our scale — an analysis product that cites open sources at a modest price and sustains itself — and could not find one. We searched, and we recorded that we found nothing. There are solo analysts running a free tier with a deeper paid layer, but their revenue figures are not public.

So we set ourselves a test with a deadline: if the free line does not produce measurable interest within a set period, our distribution assumption is dead and we change course. The result of that test will be published here too — whether we pass it or not.

Two languages

We publish in Turkish and English. The Turkish side is not a translation: we looked for a source-citing, non-paywalled crypto intelligence layer in that language and could not find one. If the gap is real it is worth filling; if it is not, we will measure that and write it down as well.
